Virtual Intensive
Outpatient (IOP)

Our Virtual IOP helps teens and young adults understand and successfully overcome their mental health struggles.

Charlie Health's Virtual IOP lasts 6-10 weeks with 9 hours of live programming per week. Treatment takes place after work and after school, so there is less disruption in the patient's life. Our program is designed to promote positive emotional and behavioral health and is based upon the most current evidence-based clinical practices. Clients and their family members are able to engage in telehealth sessions with our providers using a computer, tablet, or phone.

Programming

Quality for All

Whether it's the teen (12-17) or young adult (18-26) program, all of our clinical service happen online through a secure HIPAA compliant teleconference platform. All of our treatment sessions occur live, with master's level clinicians.

Pioneering Telehealth

Charlie Health is the first treatment provider to use information collected at intake and a proprietary algorithm to match patients into groups with the most relevant peers and therapists, and with a therapy curriculum customized just for those patients.

Our Programming Elements

3 hours of group therapy, 3 days per week with peers struggling with similar issues and a specialized therapist
• 1 hr of one-one-one therapy per week
• 1-2 hrs of family therapy per week
• Psychiatric assessment and on-going psychiatric care

Flexible

Our program schedule is flexible and we work with patients while they are still in school and/or at home. We offer night and weekend groups so students won't miss school or extracurricular activities.

Forward-looking

Upon completion of the program, patients step down to outpatient therapy, which is typically 2-3 hours per week of therapy and then gradually decreases to one time per week. In addition to outpatient therapy, Charlie Health develops a personalized aftercare plan which connects the patient and the family with community-based providers and specialists for ongoing support.
