My depression started really young, when I was 4 or 5 years old. I’ve dealt with so much since then—childhood sexual trauma, an eating disorder and then substance abuse. I flunked out of school and went on medical leave to find treatment. Charlie Health was the first thing I found. It’s given me the emotional maturity to handle hard things and I’ve gotten more emotional regulation, which is something I wish I had my entire life.
