“I started to open up and realized that I wasn’t alone”

Right before I came to Charlie Health, I was depressed and had just gotten out of the mental hospital. When I joined Charlie Health, I was upset because I was being forced to do this therapy, so I didn’t really participate. After a few days, I realized that I had to spend so much time here anyway, so I might as well just do it and get something out of it. So I started to open up and realized that I wasn’t alone. I eventually learned the things I needed to learn and got lots of positive and helpful feedback from group members and group facilitators. I met lots of people who could relate to me, and people that I could relate to, which really did help me on my journey. I met great group facilitators who helped me get through this process and made it more enjoyable to be here!
