Virtual Treatment for Teens at Charlie Health

Specialized care for teens

Charlie Health offers dedicated programming, including our virtual IOP, for teens facing serious behavioral health challenges. Many of the adolescents we serve are struggling with issues that are deeply disruptive to daily life, and in some cases may put their well-being at risk. Care includes individual and family therapy with licensed clinicians experienced in working with teens, as well as small, age-specific group sessions with peers navigating similar challenges. Compared to traditional once-weekly therapy, this program provides more structure and support, all delivered virtually so teens can continue engaging in school, friendships, and extracurricular activities.

The goal is to provide teens with the immediate support they need to stay safe, regain stability, and begin developing the tools and confidence to move forward with hope.

Real stories of hope & healing

“I realized I needed to be here”

When I first came to Charlie Health, I was at the lowest point in my life. I felt everyone around me didn’t need me and was better off without me. Although the schedule made me sad because I thought I was missing out on my outside life, I realized I needed to be here. As much as it sucks, being open and honest is the best thing you can do.

—Jayla, Charlie Health client

“I now feel more confident regulating my emotions and seeking support”

Coming to Charlie Health helped me feel more open to sharing my story and listening to other stories of hardship and mental health struggles with an open mind. I now feel more confident regulating my emotions and seeking support when needed. I felt lost and broken when I arrived, but after coming out of the program, I feel I can work towards the best version of myself.

–Zoe, Charlie Health client

“Charlie Health allowed me to feel supported when I didn’t feel supported”

Charlie Health allowed me to feel supported when I didn’t feel supported, made me feel heard when I felt like I wasn’t being heard by the people in my daily life. This program has made me realize that I am so much stronger than everyone made me out to be– that I can do so much more if I just put myself first. I was allowed to see my importance in the world and was able to help out other individuals with the advice I wish I had when I was in their situation. I will be forever grateful for being allowed to take part in the charlie health program.
