Virtual Treatment for Children at Charlie Health

Specialized care for children

Charlie Health offers dedicated programming, including our virtual IOP program, for children ages 8–12 who are experiencing urgent behavioral health challenges. Care includes individual and family therapy with licensed clinicians experienced in working with this age group, as well as small, age-specific group sessions with others navigating similar challenges. Compared to traditional once-weekly therapy, this program provides more structure and support, all delivered virtually so children can receive care while staying connected to home and school.

The goal is to help children develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen emotional and relational skills, and foster resilience for lasting healing.

Real stories of hope & healing

“Thank goodness.”

My daughter was nervous about group, very nervous. I reassured her, reminding her to just try it and go slowly. After the first one, she said, “Mom, I loved it.” She was so excited. I was like, “Thank goodness.”

—Raechel, mother of Charlie Health client

“At first, I thought nobody could understand me”

At first, I thought nobody could understand me, but then I came here. The people I met and the friends I made made me feel more open and comfortable sharing. It’s okay if your mental health is slow to heal; it will take time.”

–Kayla, Charlie Health client

“I feel like my daughter gained so much.”

We have been exceptionally pleased with Charlie Health. I feel like my daughter gained so much. She was always very against any sort of group session-based care. She didn’t want to talk about her problems and didn’t want to be affected by the energy of the other people in the group. But she would consistently report positive experiences about the people she would meet, and they lifted her up.

–Berta, mother of Charlie Health client
