I came into Charlie Health absolutely depressed and anxious, with no signs of hope. Slowly, I gained the tools to defend myself more often, make new friends, and take healthy steps toward bettering my life. I went from getting physically ill from all of my stressors to handling my stressors head-on. I finally have some semblance of hope. I began Charlie Health unemployed with no clear future, and now I’m a graduate student with a job. I’m grateful for all of my group facilitators who gave me the tools for success, and incredibly thankful for Ryan, my therapist, for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
