What is IOP?
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is a level of behavioral healthcare that is typically more structured and intensive than traditional weekly therapy.
The goal of IOP is to provide individuals with the support and treatment they need to manage their mental health issues and achieve lasting recovery, while still allowing them to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.
Curated groups
By bringing people with similar mental health challenges together, we’re able to create group environments where clients can learn how to build connections and foster long-term healing.
Individual therapy
One-on-one connections are critical to the IOP model, which is why each client’s unique treatment plan includes a primary therapist for weekly individual sessions.
Family therapy
The #1 predictor of success in IOP is family involvement. Our virtual intensive outpatient program’s family therapy component teaches communication and coping skills to create a more supportive home environment both during and after treatment.
Who is IOP for?
People with ongoing mental health issues or in a mental health crisis
IOP is designed for individuals who need more treatment and support than can be provided through once-weekly therapy, but who do not require the level of care provided through residential or inpatient treatment.

What our clients say
“I’ve gotten to a point where I can live again.”
When I came to Charlie Health, I was in a bad place and so depressed, but every week, I felt better and better, and I’ve gotten to a point where I can live again. It brought me back to life.

“I can't thank Charlie Health enough, I don't wan't to know where i'd be right now if I hadn't taken that leap of faith.”
When I stared Charlie Health 3 months ago, I couldn't leave my house. I couldn't get my own groceries, or drive a car, I wasn't able to bathe or take basic care of myself. My anxiety and depression left me feeling completely alone and hopeless. When I reached out to Charlie Health and was greeted by staff that showed me they cared, I saw a glimmer of hope that I've been clinging to ever since. It was difficult finding my footing in groups, but once I was sure it was a safe space and started becoming more vulnerable, that's when the real breakthroughs started happening. Being able to talk to my peers in a judgment free environment allowed me to process the really heavy stuff I've bottled up for so many years. I've learned so much about myself in so little time, and the connections I've made are truly genuine. I can't thank Charlie Health enough, I don't wan't to know where i'd be right now if I hadn't taken that leap of faith.

“I can safely say Charlie Health has drastically improved my life.”
Midway through my sister's time at Charlie Health, I also decided to join for my substance use. Looking at the progress I've made, the skills I've learned in group therapy, and the fun I've had with my family in family therapy, I can safely say Charlie Health has drastically improved my life. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who may be dealing with neurodivergence, family issues, self-image issues, depression, anxiety, and many more problems that therapy may be able to solve and subdue.
