Online therapy in Louisville
1 in 4 high schoolers in Kentucky experience serious psychological stress.
Over 3 million people in Kentucky live in a community that does not have enough mental health professionals.
What is IOP?
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is a level of behavioral healthcare that is typically more structured and intensive than traditional weekly therapy.
The goal of IOP is to provide individuals with the support and treatment they need to manage their mental health issues and achieve lasting recovery, while still allowing them to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.
Curated groups
By bringing people with similar mental health challenges together, we’re able to create group environments where clients can learn how to build connections and foster long-term healing.
Individual therapy
One-on-one connections are critical to the IOP model, which is why each client’s unique treatment plan includes a primary therapist for weekly individual sessions.
Family therapy
The #1 predictor of success in IOP is family involvement. Our virtual intensive outpatient program’s family therapy component teaches communication and coping skills to create a more supportive home environment both during and after treatment.
Who is IOP for?
People with ongoing mental health issues or in a mental health crisis
IOP is designed for individuals who need more treatment andsupport than can be provided through once-weekly therapy, but who do not require the level of care provided through residential or inpatient treatment.

What our clients say
“Charlie Health succeeded where other programs failed me.”
Charlie Health provided me with an invaluable sense of safety and community as an LGBT+ person. It is so hard for people to seek mental health treatment to begin with and being a part of marginalized communities can make that even more difficult. Charlie Health succeeded where other programs failed me in making me feel safe and secure in my identity, and with connecting me with other people who shared my identities and struggles and could really empathize and provide helpful feedback.

“I've had people tell me I'll never be okay, but after this journey with Charlie Health, I've been feeling better than ever.”
I've been in and out of hospitals and different therapist for over 10 years, but nothing worked or even made a dent due to their approach. Charlie Health was short but very helpful as it is adjusted to fit your personal experience. I've had people tell me I'll never be okay, but after this journey with Charlie Health, I've been feeling better than ever.

“I am in such a better place now that I have gone through the program.”
At first, I wasn't sure about Charlie Health. I didn't connect with the first group I was put into, but once I got switched to another group, everything was much better. Although some days were harder than others, Charlie Health has significantly helped me manage my depression and cope with my miscarriage. I am in such a better place now that I have gone through the program. I would highly recommend Charlie Health to anyone who is struggling.
