Are you looking for care in other areas?
Charlie Health's virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) is also available in other locations.
What is IOP?
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is a level of behavioral healthcare that is typically more structured and intensive than traditional weekly therapy.
The goal of IOP is to provide individuals with the support and treatment they need to manage their mental health issues and achieve lasting recovery, while still allowing them to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.
Curated groups
By bringing people with similar mental health challenges together, we’re able to create group environments where clients can learn how to build connections and foster long-term healing.
Individual therapy
One-on-one connections are critical to the IOP model, which is why each client’s unique treatment plan includes a primary therapist for weekly individual sessions.
Family therapy
The #1 predictor of success in IOP is family involvement. Our virtual intensive outpatient program’s family therapy component teaches communication and coping skills to create a more supportive home environment both during and after treatment.
Who is IOP for?
People with ongoing mental health issues or in a mental health crisis
IOP is designed for individuals who need more treatment and support than can be provided through once-weekly therapy, but who do not require the level of care provided through residential or inpatient treatment.

What our clients say
“It has honestly been a lifesaver...I love it here.”
I was unsure if I wanted to go back to therapy, but I knew I needed it as my social anxiety was going haywire almost every single day and my depression was getting worse. I couldn't find a therapist within my city that had availability or took my insurance, but then my psychiatrist suggested Charlie Health. I figured out they could help me and work around my schedule at work and school. It has honestly been a lifesaver and I am so happy that I continued with the process of showing up and working through my struggles within group and individual therapy sessions. I love it here, and if I ever need to come back, I will.

“I'm now able to resist my urges to self-harm.”
For a long while, I'd been struggling with mental health issues, with suicidal thoughts and self-harm issues as a result of mental abuse. There was a big incident where I tried to severely harm myself. I was put into Charlie Health, and it was a good experience for me. I'm now able to resist my urges to self-harm, and my family relationship have gotten better. The healing process is hard, but it gets easier by the month.

“I have learned to love myself and give myself grace.”
When I first started Charlie Health, I suffered from severe depression, anxiety, alcohol abuse, and social anxiety. Charlie Health taught me great things to keep me on track in my recovery journey. I now have the tools and skills to make positive changes in my life! I have learned to love myself and give myself grace!! Also, the group sessions helped tremendously in dealing with my social anxiety. I now feel more comfortable communicating with others without substances! Thank you all for everything you do.
