What is IOP?
Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is a level of behavioral healthcare that is typically more structured and intensive than traditional weekly therapy.
The goal of IOP is to provide individuals with the support and treatment they need to manage their mental health issues and achieve lasting recovery, while still allowing them to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.
Curated groups
By bringing people with similar mental health challenges together, we’re able to create group environments where clients can learn how to build connections and foster long-term healing.
Individual therapy
One-on-one connections are critical to the IOP model, which is why each client’s unique treatment plan includes a primary therapist for weekly individual sessions.
Family therapy
The #1 predictor of success in IOP is family involvement. Our virtual intensive outpatient program’s family therapy component teaches communication and coping skills to create a more supportive home environment both during and after treatment.
Who is IOP for?
People with ongoing mental health issues or in a mental health crisis
IOP is designed for individuals who need more treatment and support than can be provided through once-weekly therapy, but who do not require the level of care provided through residential or inpatient treatment.

What our clients say
“The virtual nature of the program saved my life.”
Charlie Health showed up for me at a time when I needed support the most but was trapped in an area where the resources simply didn't exist. The virtual nature of the program saved my life because it kept me out of the hospital and in my home with my family. The other patients I met in my group spaces were the most supportive humans, and being able to connect with them about experiences that I felt so alone in was one of the most healing parts of my journey here.

“You're never alone.”
I know times are difficult, and you may not have much hope, but when you really do give it your best, even if you don't, you truly get such awesome results! Always remember, even though I don't know whoever is going to be reading this, Mylo loves you, and he'll always be here to support you. Especially if you're someone who is LGBTQIA+ or Neurodivergent, just know that I will ALWAYSSS and FOREEVERRR fight for our rights! You deserve the space and equal opportunity to express yourself, your identity, your sexuality, your experiences, your personality, and other aspects of yourself and your mind however you so please. This is YOUR space, make the most of it :3 you got this homie! I believe in you; remember, you're always valid, no matter what. You are YOU, and that makes you pretty dang swag. I love you, and I'm for sure that there are people out there who feel similar, if not the same, but even if it doesn't feel like that, please reach out to your resources! You're never alone; there are people out there who will support and accept you for who you genuinely are; I know I do!

“All the staff members were AMAZING.”
This was a LONG journey. It was well worth it. When I initially checked into rehab I did not feel I had an issue. After being released from rehab and joining Charlie Health I was a bit standoffish and eventually opened up. I learned a lot from my classmates. The only advice that I can give is to open up and if you are comfortable, make connections and keep in contact. Everyone needs a support system and you never know who you can relate to. All the staff members were AMAZING, and I look forward to helping the Alumni group from time to time. Everyone stay strong and continue to fight this fight!!!
