How a referral works

You handle the referral.
We handle everything else.

After you refer someone, they’re immediately in our care. We’ll help them get the support they need — including connecting them with a trusted provider if IOP-level care isn’t the right fit.

  1. Referral

Contact your Charlie Health rep directly to verify coverage and walk through next steps. If you don’t have a rep, fill out our referral form or call us directly, and we’ll take it from there.

  2. Treatment

Track treatment progress with required updates and documentation — including attendance and participation, drug and alcohol screening, FMLA, and short-term disability.

  3. Discharge

Receive a discharge summary and return-to-work documentation when treatment ends.

31,000+ organizations and facilities have referred someone to Charlie Health.
