Online Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), made for you

Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, is the use of FDA-approved medications combined with counseling and behavioral therapy to treat substance use disorders — primarily opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. Charlie Health’s online MAT program combines medication management with an intensive outpatient program, so you get mat drug treatment paired with the therapeutic support that drives lasting recovery.

For alcohol use disorder: naltrexone (oral and long-acting injectable Vivitrol), acamprosate (Campral), and disulfiram (Antabuse). For opioid use disorder: naltrexone, plus coordination of care for clients on buprenorphine (Suboxone) through external prescribers. Medication availability varies by state.

Adults 16 and older. You cannot be pregnant, cannot have both opioid use disorder and active alcohol or benzodiazepine use, and cannot require inpatient detox for recent withdrawal. Your clinician confirms eligibility during intake.

Most clients complete their clinical intake within days of calling. MAT evaluations typically happen within the first 2 weeks. Group and individual therapy begin within 24 hours of intake.

Yes, for all MAT clients. Drug testing is delivered at-home through our partner You Are Accountable (YAA) using observed oral fluid samples — discreet, no cost to you.
