Dr. Tammy J. Steiner, MS, PhD, LCPC, NCC, is a Clinical Supervisor at Charlie Health, where she provides clinical oversight and therapeutic support to adolescents, young adults, and their families. As a Clinical Supervisor, she provides mentorship and training to a team of clinicians, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality care. With a doctorate in educational psychology and extensive experience in trauma-informed care, Dr. Steiner specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), and play therapy.
Dr. Steiner has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient care, telehealth, and crisis intervention, serving diverse populations across the lifespan. She has expertise in co-parenting counseling, family therapy, and group therapy and is committed to using evidence-based modalities to promote healing and resilience. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Steiner has an extensive background in higher education and research. Dr. Steiner is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with multi-state licensure. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from Capella University, as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she has completed a Master’s Certificate in Play Therapy.
