I entered Charlie Health after I was inpatient at a psychiatric hospital for 8 days. I had thoughts of hurting myself and wanting my life to simply end. At first in Charlie Health, I was closed off and didn’t want to be there. Then I started to open up and I was very much satisfied with how kindly I was treated. I felt at home. I started talking a lot more with the people that were in my group and felt instantly connected with everyone. The group facilitators made it very safe and calm and would always help me and everyone else who needed anything. This experience was definitely life-changing.
